As part of Stanford Medicine's "Building a Culture of Health Equity Monthly Lecture" series, the Office of Research Patient Care (ORPCS) team presented "The Past and Future of Race in Medicine," detailing how race has been used in medicine.

2022 International Nurse Practitioner Visit
A Partnership between Nursing Excellence and Magnet Programs and the Advanced Practice Providers (APP) Team hosted Advanced Practice Providers from the Netherlands.
SHC Nurse Practitioners shared best practices, professional expertise and a nursing excellence experience in a Magnet designated hospital. It is exciting to have this joint opportunity to opportunity to have the Dutch NPs here at Stanford Health Care for a week-long learning and knowledge exchange.
This ongoing collaboration with our international partners signifies our strong commitment to influencing the dynamic and evolving global healthcare.
Shared Leadership Council, Giving Back to Local Community
Shared Leadership Council Magnet Professional Growth and Development (MPGD) held a toiletry drive and delivered donations to a local East Palo Alto nonprofit to meet the needs of the local community. In total 295 lbs and over 1100 items were collected and donated.
